This Bible study of the word soul, set to music reminiscent of a ballad, focuses on four verses that outline the unfolding story of the gospel.
God created each soul.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Each soul has sinned and therefore must die.
Ezekiel 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
Christ poured out His righteous soul on our behalf, to redeem those who will trust in Him.
Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
All those who believe on Christ will have their soul eternally restored to God, to live with Him forever.
Hebrews 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
