This piece is a tribute to Pastor Leonard Dale McCallister of Maranatha Bible Church in Zanesville, OH. Pastor McCallister served in ministry for more than fifty-five years, remaining faithful through many difficult situations where others would have given up. After watching Pastor McCallister face one particular heartache, then-high schooler Edith wrote this song as a gift.
